1. What is a TV enclosure?

A TV enclosure is a protective housing designed to shield televisions from weather, dust, impact, and environmental exposure in indoor or outdoor installations.

2. Are your TV enclosures waterproof?

Our enclosures are rated IP56 or IP65, which provides limited protection against water and dust.

They are not fully waterproof, cannot be submerged, and must not be exposed to high-pressure water jets or extreme weather conditions.

3. Can I install the enclosure outdoors?

Yes — only in appropriate conditions.

Outdoor installations should be shaded, covered, or semi-protected.

Direct full sun, extreme weather exposure, or incorrect placement may void the warranty.4. Will my TV overheat inside the enclosure?

Enclosures do not control the internal temperature of your TV.

Heat buildup depends on:

  • TV model

  • Ambient temperature

  • Sun exposure

  • Ventilation and airflow

TV overheating is the customer’s responsibility.

5. Do you supply the TV?

No. We do have an option for commercial only high bright monitors required for absolute sun light readable brightness, but they do not have built in TV tuners or netflix, etc

We mainly supplyĀ the enclosure only.

The TV, media players, and all third-party devices are supplied, installed, and maintained by the customer.

6. Can I use any TV brand inside the enclosure?

Yes, provided:

  • The TV fits the enclosure size

  • Adequate clearance is maintained

  • The TV is suitable for the installation environment

We do not guarantee compatibility or performance of third-party devices.

7. Are your enclosures vandal-proof?

No enclosure is completely vandal-proof. You could easily walk up and spray paint the enclosure or graffiti the enclosure.

Standard models areĀ designed for vandal resistance up to IK10 impact protection only

8. What TV sizes do you support?

Standard enclosures typically supportĀ 32ā€ to 98ā€ TVs.

Custom sizes are available on request.

9. Are custom enclosures refundable?

Custom-made enclosures are non-returnable.

Refunds (if any) may be partial and exclude shipping, handling, and restocking costs.

10. What is considered a ā€œmajor faultā€?

Examples include:

  • Enclosure does not fit the stated TV size

  • Structural damage or warping

  • Door cannot close properly

  • Safety concerns

  • Incorrect IP protection as supplied

Major faults may be eligible for repair, replacement, or refund under Australian Consumer Law.11. What is considered a ā€œminor faultā€?

Minor faults include:

  • Fans, gas struts, hinges, locks

  • Cosmetic paint defects

  • Replaceable parts

  • Cracked glass panels (door replacement)

Minor faults are repaired or replaced — not refunded.

12. Do you cover installation or labour?

No.

We operate as a supply-only business unless installation is explicitly quoted in writing.

Labour, removal, or reinstallation costs are not covered.

13. Can I modify the enclosure?

No.

Any drilling, additional holes, fan changes, or unapproved modifications void the warranty unless approved in writing and properly sealed.

14. What temperatures are the enclosures rated for?

Enclosures are designed for -30°C to +50°C ambient conditions, but this does not guarantee the internal temperature of the TV or electronics.

15. Are the front panels glass or polycarbonate?

As of 2025 Front viewing windows are supplied asĀ polycarbonate, depending on availability and lead time.

All supplied panels are impact-resistant and selected to ensure timely delivery.

16. Why does the TV image look blurry?

The front window isĀ matte, not frosted.

For best clarity, the TV must be positioned within 1–2 cm of the viewing window.

17. Do coastal or saltwater locations require special enclosures?

As of 2025 our enclosures have a paint that is salt resistant near ocean environments.Ā

Installations near saltwater do requireĀ special materials or coatings and must be specified at time of order.

18. How long do I have to report defects?

You must inspect the enclosure and report any issuesĀ within 5 business days of delivery.

Failure to do so constitutes acceptance of the goods.

19. What warranty do you provide?

Warranty is limited toĀ manufacturing defects of the enclosure only.

It excludes:

  • TVs and electronics

  • Heat damage

  • Environmental misuse

  • Incorrect installation

  • Customer modifications
