To assist with "locking" the anti-theft bracket on the rear side of the enclosure mount. Sometimes there is very little space between the wall and the enclosure so you need to lock the AV mount otherwise the enclosure will NOT sit flat. And it can be removed from the wall. To prevent theft you need to lock the rear side mount which is supplied with all octopus tv enclosures
This tool allows you to go up behind the enclosure and pull the latch down and allows the supplied AV mount to LOCK into position. It would also be required to remove the enclosure from the AV mount if you need to take the enclosure off the wall.
